Free, private, and instant — nothing leaves your browser. All 30 tools, no sign-up, with every rate and tax band pulled from a named federal source and dated on the page.
Each calculator states its assumptions in full, because a number without its assumptions is not an answer. Where a figure comes from a federal dataset — IRS rate schedules and contribution limits, the Uniform Lifetime table, BLS inflation data, FDIC deposit rates, Freddie Mac mortgage rates, Federal Reserve survey medians, BEA saving rates — it is fetched from the source, dated on the page, and declared in the page's structured data. Nothing is typed in by hand.
Where something cannot be sourced responsibly, it is left out and said so rather than estimated. The paycheck calculator covers federal tax only. The student loan calculator does not model income-driven repayment and points you to the Department of Education's own simulator instead.
