How we estimated Joe Concha’s net worth

Because there is no credible published figure, we built a conservative estimate from what can be checked. Here is the reasoning, step by step.

  1. Fox News pay. Fox does not publish contributor pay. The best public benchmark is Tulsi Gabbard’s 2024 financial disclosure, which, as ABC News reported in January 2025, showed $199,500 earned as a Fox News contributor over a year. Concha appears far more often than most contributors, so we use a range of roughly $150,000 to $350,000.
  2. Radio pay. His radio workload jumped in 2025 and 2026, from a Sunday hour to a nationally syndicated weeknight show. Pay is not disclosed. We assume a low-to-mid six-figure total, which is conservative for a syndicated host in the New York market.
  3. Books and speaking. Three books with a major publisher and a listed speaking fee of about $15,000 add income, but neither the book advances nor the number of paid speeches is public. We count these cautiously.
  4. Earlier career. From 2012 to 2023 he worked as a staff writer and reporter. Digital media jobs like these usually pay in the five- to low-six-figure range, which limits how much he could have saved before his TV and radio roles grew.
  5. Taxes and living costs. He lives in New Jersey, a high-tax, high-cost state, and is raising a family. We assume a large share of gross income goes to taxes and living expenses.

Putting this together, his current gross income is likely in the mid-six figures. Only in the last few years has it reached that level. After taxes and costs, accumulated savings, retirement accounts and home equity in a range of $1 million to $3 million is a reasonable, conservative estimate. We use the midpoint, about $2 million. We will update this if a credible outlet publishes a figure or his pay becomes public.

Early life

Very little about Concha’s early life has been confirmed by reliable sources. Several websites list a birth date and hometown, but none cite a source, so we have left them out.

What is known is that he has lived in New Jersey throughout his career, even while covering Washington politics. He is a big baseball and football fan and plays in local softball and flag football leagues, according to his speaking-agency profile.

Fox News producer and Mediaite columnist

Concha’s first major media job was behind the camera. He worked as a producer and news writer at Fox News, according to Adweek and O’Dwyer’s, before switching to writing about the industry he had worked in.

In the summer of 2012 he joined Mediaite, the media news and opinion site founded by Dan Abrams. As a columnist there, he covered television news, politics and press coverage. He became a regular guest on cable news, appearing as a media analyst on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, HLN, MSNBC and CNBC.

Media reporter at The Hill

In July 2016 Concha left Mediaite to become the media reporter at The Hill, the Washington political outlet. He started just as the 2016 presidential race was heating up, and press coverage of Donald Trump became one of his main subjects.

Over the next seven years he went from reporter to columnist, writing about media bias, ratings and the business of cable news. His profile on TV grew alongside it, and in 2020 Fox News signed him as a paid contributor.

Fox News contributor

As a contributor, Concha appears across Fox News and Fox Business. He is a regular on Fox & Friends, The Big Saturday Show, Varney & Co. and Outnumbered, and he has filled in as a co-host on The Five and The Big Weekend Show.

His speaking bureau says he appears on Fox networks hundreds of times a year. That level of airtime is one reason we place his contributor pay above the one public benchmark. The terms and length of his current Fox contract have not been reported.

The Messenger and the Washington Examiner

In May 2023 Concha announced he was leaving The Hill after seven years to write for The Messenger, a new, well-funded digital news site. The Messenger shut down in early 2024, less than a year after launch.

In 2025 he joined the Washington Examiner as a contributing writer. He now writes opinion pieces there on politics and the media, alongside his TV and radio work.

Books

Concha has written three books, all for Broadside Books, the conservative imprint of HarperCollins:

  • Come On, Man! The Truth About Joe Biden’s Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Presidency (2022): marketed as a national bestseller
  • Progressively Worse: Why Today’s Democrats Ain’t Your Daddy’s Donkeys (2024): a critique of the modern Democratic Party
  • The Greatest Comeback Ever: Inside Trump’s Big Beautiful Campaign (April 2025): an account of Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign

His speaking agency calls him a New York Times bestselling author. Book advances for political commentators vary widely, and his have not been reported.

Radio career at WABC

Radio has become Concha’s fastest-growing source of income. In 2025 he began filling in on the Red Apple Audio commentary slot left open when Jeanine Pirro became U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.

His radio roles grew quickly from there:

  • September 2025: took over Pirro’s Sunday 11 a.m. slot on 77 WABC with The Joe Concha Tunnel to Towers Foundation Show, plus a daily two-minute feature, Joe Concha Sounds Off
  • January 2026: launched Concha at Night, a weeknight show from 9 to 10 p.m. ET on WABC
  • January 26, 2026: Red Apple Audio Networks took Concha at Night into national syndication

WABC owner John Catsimatidis said in January 2026 that “listeners trust Joe and his ratings success backs that up.” His radio pay has not been disclosed.

Speaking

Concha is booked through Premiere Speakers Bureau, which lists his fee at about $15,000 per event and says he travels from New Jersey. His talks mix media analysis with humor. How many paid speeches he gives each year is not public.

Real estate

There are no reliable public reports of Concha’s property purchases, so we have not included a real estate table. He is known to live in New Jersey.

Personal life

Concha is married and has children, and the family lives in New Jersey. He keeps his private life largely out of the public eye, and details reported by some websites about his wife and children are not confirmed by reliable sources.

Outside work, he is a keen sports fan and plays in local softball and flag football leagues.

Philanthropy

Concha’s Sunday radio show is sponsored by and named for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charity that helps families of fallen first responders and military members and builds mortgage-free homes for them. There are no public reports of his personal charitable giving.
